A rock with writing and a tiny home- By Bob Weaver 2024 - Few return to one of the six final resting places on the remote Husk Ridge, but one man, Roy S. Husk, 74, of New Philadelpia, Ohio, just did, to a Husk Cemetery. He was he son of the late Samuel George and Flossie (Coon) Husk, who are buried there, a farmer and veteran of World War II, dying early at age 43
![]() Roy Husk's family from early days Samuel George Husk was the son of Samuel Clayton Husk and Flora Gay Bell Husk, the elder Husks were parents of; Helen Husk Stout, Joe Husk, Martin Husk, Roy Husk, Cindy Husk Parsons, Veda Husk Milhoun, Gloria Husk Anderson, Hattie Husk Lowe, Gladys Husk Hursell, Linda Husk and Donna Husk Perry. I ridge run the Husk since my childhood, now a thousand times, able look across the hills and hollows and see something new every time. |
