DARKNESS FELL ON THE MAIN STREET OFFICE
OF CALHOUN ATTORNEY TONY MORGAN WITH
FRIENDS LEAVING FLOWERS AT THE SITE

Tony Morgan, a longtime Calhoun County attorney and former prosecutor, died suddenly while deer hunting. Morgan, a descendant of WV's first permanent settler Morgan Morgan, will be remembered for his gentlemanly approach to the human condition, a man of place and the sod, who would clarify the most tortuous situations with calmness, sometimes saying, "Can't we all just get along." He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Morgan was the last attorney with an office in rural Calhoun County, with Michael Hicks the last standing attorney in the county. A memorial service is set for Spring. - Bob Weaver
