CALHOUN MIDDLE-HIGH SCHOOL HALTS IN-PERSON ED UNTIL MAY 17 - Students/Staff Test Positive COVID-19, "Many Students/Staff Quarantined"

Calhoun Superintendent of Schools Kelli Whytsell announced,  "In an effort to be transparent with the community and respect the privacy of our employees and students, we want to inform you that Calhoun County Schools has had additional students and staff test positive for COVID-19. We now have many students and staff quarantined."

The school nurse is still working on contact tracing.

     With the advice and recommendation of MOVHD and School Nurse Anderson, all students at Calhoun Middle High School will be remote learning through Friday; May 14th. Students will return to in-person on Monday, May 17th.   Students and staff that are quarantined need to follow all of the quarantine guidelines.  Everyone that has been quarantined must remain quarantined until the date they are given.  

The board meeting will now be at the Calhoun County Board of Education office on Monday, May 10th, at 5:30.
