MONDAY WV COVID-19 REPORT - 293 NEW CASES, CALHOUN HAS THREE NEW CASES SINCE SUNDAY

New numbers released Monday by the state Department of Health and Human Resources update the vaccination totals to 461,008.

The state reported no additional deaths Monday. That number stands at 2,745.

According to the state DHHR, there are 293 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases. Active cases were at 7,470 Monday.

Calhoun reportedly has three new cases since Sunday and appeared to have 13 new cases last week.

There are 271 hospitalizations with 82 of those patients being treated in intensive care units.
