A Hur Herald reader is hoping that other readers could help her identify what this object is, she purchased it at a farm estate sale.

Justin Mowery - "I think I have an idea what it might be. It looks like the foot pedal for either a shearing rig, or possibly a milking rig - you stomp it to get the machines running. I can't tell any more than that from the photos, but I imagine the rest of the rig is around somewhere."

James Husk - "I am not sure what it is, but in my opinion it looks like an old fashion strap holder used to sharpen a straight razor. Just a thought." Any other ideas?
