20 YEARS AGO: THE HALL'S OF CALHOUN COUNTY - A County Park Reunion

The Hall's of Calhoun came to the Calhoun Park on Saturday for a family reunion. They are descendants of Raleigh White Hall (1843-1927), a pioneer Calhouner and veteran of the Civil War. Hall came to the Arnoldsburg area from Monroe County in 1869, having served one term as the Superintendent of Schools and was elected twice as the Circuit Clerk.

He was twice married, first to Maggie Robinson of Blue Sulphur Springs and then to Mary E. Price in 1881. Children from these marriages:

At the time of his death at age 84, he had fifty grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.
