Melvin Theodore Pinson 60, of Cross Lanes WV, formerly of Spencer, WV, died at CAMC Memorial Hospital on December 31, 2018 after a short illness.
Melvin was born September 18, 1958 in New Mexico, a son of the late Markes (Pinky) and Dorothy Pinson.
Melvin was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates. He loved telling stories about high school, search word puzzles and reruns. A highlight of his life was meeting Michael Landon at Shiners Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
He is survived by two sisters, Sherry Pinson and Pam Neff, both of Cross Lanes; two brothers Mike Pinson of Spencer and Todd Pinson of Texas.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer. There will be no funeral service. After the visitation, Melvin will be cremated. |
