In Praise And Prayer For Our Military

My heart goes out to Jessica's and Therrel's families. I will be praying for both families and all others who have loved ones involved. I know how hard it is to accept that our loved ones are involved in this war.

My husband was deployed four weeks ago, and has been stationed in Indiana. He will be leaving to head overseas in a couple of weeks. I miss him greatly, but at the same time I am very proud for what he is doing.

I can only imagine what they are going through, and I just want them to know that there are a lot of people out there who care and will be praying for them. And I will always support our troops in whatever they endeavor. I want all soldiers from the past, now, and in the future to know that I respect everything they do and they will always be loved.

When I read these stories on the Herald, they hit so close to home, because they touched on all the fears that I am dealing with at this time. I am from Calhoun County and now live in Mississippi. All of my family still lives there, so it has been hard for me to be away from everyone that I love so dearly.

I pray that Jessica comes home safely. She and Therrel have served our country proudly, and I am one American that truly appreciates everything that they have sacrificed to make this world a better place to live.

With love and prayers for all involved,

Laura Baudouin
