Hur Herald Has Opened Doors

(04/27/2002)

Dear Editor

The Hur Herald is such a pleasure to read, and it has opened doors for me with many cousins that I have not had the pleasure to meet. Kirby/Kerby connections are pouring in from my signing of the guest book.

Moreover, the pictures you have recently published of my parents, Alfonso and Opal (Bland Bennett) Gainer have further opened contacts for me.

The Kelly/Ferrell connection to my family roots is now opening up for me, thanks to the Hur Herald. Your web magazine is such a blessing to me.

My parents moved from the area about 1955, but their hearts never left home, at Turkey Knob on the Gilmer/Calhoun county line where they spent most of their lives.

Thanking you once again for wonderful work well done...

Lelia Gainer Morgan
