Husk Descendant Says, Thanks

(02/21/2002)

Dear Editor, Just re-discovered your web site after I had been here a couple of years ago, and you have really done an outstanding job......Thanks.

My name is Danny Lee Husk and I am one of those "hearty-stout"Husk descended from there and you did a great job on the Husk altar article.

My Dad was Floyd Arthur Husk and his dad was William Hobert Husk, in the 1870 census my great Grandfather John Husk and my Great-Great Grandfather Samuel Husk are listed. Mary Husk Bryner was my second cousin, twice removed.

I am 58 and have little memories of visting out around Spencer but I am remended by you pictures and vivid stories!! God Bless You

My wife, Gloria Jean Powers Husk, is actually the real historian, she took over the duties of Genealogist and now has about 39,000 in her and my family line. Of course there are tons of 4th and 5th cousins and such. She has many Husk's, several from Calhoun, Wirt and Roane Counties. I was born at Parkersburg, Wood County, WV. You can visit her web site at GloryWay.com

Again, God Bless you Bob, Dianne and Norma for all the work!

Danny Husk
