JOSH HAYMAKER WINS A GRAND - $3000 Raised For Athletic Complex

All CCACC tickets sold were placed in a basket at the Elimination Dinner Saturday night at Calhoun Middle/High School for the $1000 prize, a fund raiser for the school's athletic complex. The grand prize winner was 14-year-old Josh Haymaker of Mt. Zion, son of Hays and Martha Haymaker. All participants purchased the $15 tickets to participate.

The Haymaker's played the elimination game last year and won a used 4 x 4 vehicle. Martha Haymaker says she may entertain offers to purchase tickets for "people who want to win" next year.

Faye Fitzwater won an all-sports pass for Calhoun Middle/High School and Glendon Davidson won a walking stick carved by Dan Cain. Many of the participants received merchant prizes.

The event raised slightly over $3000.
