Remembering The Mt. Zion Drive-IN

Dear Editor,

My Grandfather and Grandmother (Horace and Gwen Haught) built a house near the theater in the early 1960's.

We would sit on the hill by the pond and watch the movies. We had to guess what the words were since at that distance we could not hear the dialogue.

It was great fun when we actually went. I will always remember listening to the jukebox before the movie (we could hear that).

In the early 1970's I can remember a large fox population and they live trapped many foxes at the theater for transport to Georgia.

I enjoy the word from home despite the miles and years of separation.

Keep up the good work.
