I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us with their prayers, calls, visits and donations during this very trying time.|
Bob had a quadruple bypass 2 days before Christmas, which in itself was very scary. The doctors had originally told us he could never have surgery. Well, he did great and was home in 7 days and with therapy he has advanced and is stronger now than before.
On January 4th. I had an auto accident and totaled the car. I was mostly bruised and sore, but did manage to break my right leg.
I don't know what we would have done without all the help we have gotten and are still getting.
Rick and Connie McCartney were there for me in Charleston and Jack Marks built a super ramp for Bob (which I seem to need more), and Betty Price has chauffeured me. The gun show folks had a 50/50 drawing for us and donated $500.
What did we ever do to deserve friends like you? We don't know, but we do appreciate your friendship and thank God for you. It is wonderful to live in a community such as ours. It is also great to have family like our daughters who have been a great help.
