Dear Editor,

During the first spring of President Bush's term, Mr. Tom Brokaw and NBC took television viewers on a tour of the White House with President Bush as host. Toward the end of the program, seated on side chairs with Mrs. Bush and the President in front of him, Mr. Brokaw, in a teasing manner, making reference to Mrs. Bush doing something, asked the President how he would be able to get her to do that. President Bush said that she does what I tell her to do. It was very clear to me that he was not joking. Why is it that this scene has not been brought to the attention of voters who are seriously trying to discern the true character of the man who presently holds this high office?
