Coach David White is pleased to announce that three Calhoun Varsity Softball players for the recently completed 2004 season were selected Class AA, All-State Honorable Mention for Softball in West Virginia. The three players are Dani Church, freshman--pitcher; Tiffany Hall, senior--1st base; and Katie Hupp, senior--shortstop.

Dani Church

All three girls had an excellent year helping the team achieve a 13--8 regular season record. Dani's batting average was above 400 while Katie and Tiff's were in the upper 300's. Fielding percentage for Dani and Tiff were in the upper 900's and Katie's was in the upper 800's.

Tiffany Hall

Dani also posted thirteen wins pitching and recorded 130 strike outs of opposition players, both of these are new Calhoun High records. Dani will be returning to Calhoun Softball to continue playing next season but as graduating seniors Tiff and Katie will be greatly missed by their former teammates and coaches.

Katie Hupp

Coach White wishes the two of them continued success and hopes that they will continue to play softball on the college level. Katie and Tiff are both currently enrolled at Glenville State College.
