CALHOUN FALLS TO CHARLESTON CATHOLIC 57-47 - Face Notre Dame In Consolation Today At 6 PM

Save for a couple of early ties undefeated Charleston Catholic led all the way en route to a 57-47 win over Calhoun County Friday night in the first round of the Clarksburg Notre Dame Tournament.

The Fighting Irish, riding two double-doubles by members of its big front line, was able to get the lead early and hold off the Red Devils the rest of the way.

Charleston Catholic's 6-5 Matt Bond led with way with 19 points and 11 rebounds. He was backed by 6-3 Semi Lusimo with 12 points and 15 boards.

Marcus Davis led Calhoun with 19 while Jake Perkins added 11 points and 11 rebounds.

The loss drops Calhoun, 2-2, into tonight's consolation game with host Notre Dame, a 51-50 loser to Weirton Madonna.

Tonight's game gets under way at 6:00.
