TANNER SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR SEX CRIMES - Circuit Court Dispositions

Calhoun Circuit Court was in session this week, with several cases presented to the court, according to Prosecutor Nigel Jefferies.

Fredrick Tanner was sentenced to 10 to 20 years for Sexual Abuse by Parent, Guardian, or Custodian. A sentence of 5 to 15 year sentence for Incest was run consecutive. A sentence of 10-25 years for Sexual Assault 2nd Degree was run concurrent. A 10 to 20 year sentence for Distribution and Display of Obscene Matter was run consecutive. A sentence of 5 to 25 for Sexual Abuse 3rd Degree was run concurrent. Effective sentence of 25 to 55 years in the penitentiary.

Amanda Morrison - Entered a high/low plea to “conspiracy” and “possession of a controlled substance”. Acceptance or rejection of the plea set for May 6, 2021.

Christopher Lamp - Arraignment. Defendant entered a not guilty plea to “conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance” and “delivery of a controlled substance.” Trial set for April 20th.

Jarred Nicholas - Arraignment. Defendant entered a plea of not guilty to “conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance,” “delivery of a controlled substance,” and “possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (x2)”. Trial set for April 20th.

James Nicholas - Return on capias for failing to appear for sentencing. Defendant’s sentencing set for March 11th. Defendant to remain in CRJ until sentencing.

Darren Parsons - Trial set for April 20th. Charged with “grand larceny.”

Bobby Blosser - Trial set for April 20th. Charged with “failure to pay child support.”

Robert Hupp - Sentenced to not less than one (1) nor more than five (5) years in the penitentiary for “possession with intent to deliver (meth).”

Abbie Sturms - Plea accepted. Sentencing was deferred for one (1) year probationary period.
