| Lisa Minney, the representative for this region of the WV Writer's Annual Contest, says, "This year so far, there have been few submissions to the Annual Contest, they won't be able to cover the winnings and judge payout.
Usually, submissions are so high, it is quite difficult to place. This is a good year for first timers to enter. The deadline is soon."
