A Calhoun man died early last week, his deceased body discovered at his residence on Pleasant Hill, a short distance from Town Hill, Grantsville.

He was the son of the late Judd Yoak.

Sources at the scene indicated Randy "Bear" Yoak had been deceased for a while, as responders used a UTV to remove him during inclement weather.

Bear was a well-known personality to the Calhoun community, always engaging just about everyone he meet at a store or on the street.

He rarely neglected a person, engaging them in superfluous conversation.

Certainly he will be remembered for that.
