CALHOUN GRAND JURY INDICTS FIVE |

A Calhoun County grand jury handed-up indictments against five individuals during their session on January 5, 2021, according to prosecutor Nigel Jefferies. The grand jury returned the following indictments: Darren Nicholas Parsons, of Grantsville, W.Va., was indicted on one count of grand larceny. John Fredrick Fisher, of Arnoldsburg, W.Va., was indicted on one count of third offense driving on a revoked license for DUI. Michael Andrew Keeney, II, of Spencer, W.Va., was indicted on one count third offense DUI; third offense driving on a revoked license for DUI; and fleeing by means other than a vehicle. Christopher Scott Lamp, of Grantsville, W.Va., was indicted for one count conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance (methamphetamine); and one count delivery of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Jarred Lee Nicholas, of Grantsville, W.Va., was indicted on one count conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance (methamphetamine); one count delivery of a controlled substance (methamphetamine); one count possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance (marijuana); and one count possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (methamphetamine). An indictment is merely a charge and is not evidence of guilt.
