| The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources confirmed 212 new COVID-19 cases in its report on Monday.
A total of 280 new cases and no additional deaths were announced by the DHHR on Sunday.
The report from the DHHR stated that as of 10 a.m. on Monday, October 19, there have been a total of 687,025 (+7,092) laboratory results received for COVID-19, with 20,293 (+212) total cases and 399 (+0) of those cases resulting in deaths.
According to the DHHR’s website, there are currently 5,095 (+155) active cases and 14,799 (+57) recovered cases in the state.
