NICHOLAS SHOOTING - Nicholas County deputies said they are investigating after a woman fatally shot her husband during a domestic disturbance.

Alicia J. Drennen, 32, of Swiss shot and killed Bernard Lee Drennen, 32, of Swiss about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Drennen was arraigned before a magistrate and was transported to Central Regional Jail.

The incident is still under investigation.

CHARLESTON MURDER - Charleston police have a first-degree murder warrant for the suspect in a deadly shooting Wednesday morning.

Police said Clarence Haley Jr., 24, got into an argument with Ronnel Huff, 43, inside of a home on Seventh Avenue.

They said Haley pulled out a gun and shot Huff in the chest. Police said the suspect ran from the home. Huff was pronounced dead at the hospital.

MORGANTOWN SHOOTING - Morgantown police are investigating after a man was found with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the chest.

Police responded about 2:45 p.m. Wednesday to a report of shots fired near the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Pietro Street, according to a news release from the Morgantown Police Department.

The man was on the sidewalk in front of 325 Pennsylvania Ave. He was unresponsive but had a pulse. First responders treated the man, and he was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Officers are trying to locate a silver Infiniti G35 in connection with the shooting.

Police said anyone who encounters a vehicle matching that description should call 911.
