9/9/2020 - In an effort to be transparent with the community and also respect the privacy of our employees, we want to inform you that Calhoun County Schools has one additional employee that is being voluntarily quarantined due to a possible exposure in PHE Kindergarten and a voluntary quarantine Kindergarten classes will not resume until Monday.

We will keep you updated as information becomes available to us.

This employee has not tested positive but is self-quarantining.  As soon as the employee was notified, the employee notified the school nurse. We are in touch with the MOVHD and will be following the health department's guidance. As a precaution, the kindergarten classes at Pleasant Hill Elementary will not resume until Monday, September 14.

As a school system, our employees do the COVID-19 screeners, take temperatures, and sanitize daily.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.

We are a close school family and will continue to provide whatever assistance we can safely provide to them during this time.

Thank you for your support of Calhoun County Schools, our students, and the school community.   Together we can get through these challenging times by continuing to support each other.
