The family of J.B. Dillon (known by most people as Sam) are requesting wishes be sent to him to help celebrate his 90th Birthday. Cards may be mailed to: 2382 Crummies Creek Rd., Arnoldsburg WV 25234.

He was born June 1, 1930 to William D. Dillon and Nellie Groves Dillon on Crummies Creek Rd., Sand Ridge. He attended the one room school house across the road form his home and there he met his future wife, Lorraine Schoolcraft.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and following his discharge he married and moved to Barberton, Ohio and worked at PPG Chemical plant; He raised 2 children, Patricia and Kevin.

After retiring he moved back to his home farm on Crummies Creek, doing what most people do after retirement, enjoying his farm and beekeeping and playing around with woodworking, a talent we didn't know he had!

He is a member of the historic Albert's Chapel at Sand Ridge. We would like to ask if family and friends could brighten his day of celebrating 90 years with cards and well wishes, just don't mention he's 90 because he still thinks and acts like he's 40! Longevity runs in his family, his half brother John Cassette Dillon lived to be 99.
