West Virginia now has 12 positive cases of coronavirus, according to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, PM Saturday.

The state has 330 negative cases and two pending.

Gov. Jim Justice will give a statewide address on the coronavirus Saturday evening at 7 p.m.

Counties with positive cases include one in Jackson, two in Jefferson, two in Kanawha, two in Marshall, two in Mercer, one in Monongalia and two in Tucker.

A newly diagnosed WV woman told media that she encountered problems trying to get tested for the virus, based upon guidelines who can get test.

The state Supreme Court reported Saturday evening at a judicial branch worker in Kanawha County has tested positive.

Virtually all those diagnosed in WV with the virus has "foreign" contact, one of the criteria.

WV hospital administrators are still saying they do not have the medical supplies and equipment to handle numbers of patients.

The state, not unlike others, has been slow in getting COVID-19 virus tests, the governor saying the virus is likely all over the state.

Nationally there is a major increase in liquor, gun and ammo sales.
