Vroom-Save the Children have been offering weekly play groups at Pleasant Hill School. These groups take place every Friday at 2 p.m. at the school. Also the second Tuesday of every month at the Calhoun Library 11 a.m. and the third Saturday of every month at 10 a.m. For setails see   Vroom-Save the Children

BIG OTTER FRIDAY NIGHT MUSIC - Every Friday doors open at 4:30 p.m., music begins at 7:00 p.m. and continues until 10:00 p.m. Come have a hillbilly hotdog with chili and cole slaw, homemade dessert and visit with your neighbors before being entertained with Ole Country, Bluegrass and sometimes a little Rock and Roll. BENEFIT DINNER - There will be a Benefit Dinner for Brian James at the Rosedale Senior Center in Rosedale, WV, on Sunday, February 9, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Brian is currently having treatments for Pancreatic Cancer. Numerous trips are being made for doctor appointments, tests, and treatments. Brian has operated R&L Grocery in Rosedale for several years. Prior to that, he operated Master Pets in Gassaway, WV. Menu will be Spaghetti and Meatballs, Garlic Bread, Tossed Salad, Dessert, and Drinks. Carry-out Meals available. Donations at the door will be greatly appreciated. Live Entertainment will start at 1:00 p.m. There will be Raffles and 50-50 Chances. This Benefit is sponsored by Friends of Brian James. All proceeds will go to help with medical and travel expenses.

THURSDAY FEBRUARY 13

CASH BINGO - The Calhoun County Committee on Aging is sponsoring CASH BINGO - Thursday, Feb. 13 at the CCCOA-Grantsville Senior Center Dining Hall, located at 105 Market St., Grantsville. Doors open at 5:30 - Games begin at 6:00 p.m. The event is open to the public, must be 18 years of age to play. Quarter per card per game. Win half the pot on every game. Refreshments available! The bus will run after bingo.

CALHOUN COUNTY PARK BINGO - Calhoun County Park will have a Mix-It-Up Bingo, Saturday, February 15 at Arnoldsburg Elementary School. Doors open at 4 - Bingo starts at 5 p.m. Concessions will be sold. AES ANNUAL MIX-IT-UP BINGO - Arnoldsburg Elementary School invites the public to their Annual Mix-It-Up Bingo, Saturday, March 14th, 2020 at the school. Doors Open at 4 p.m. - Bingo Starts at 5 p.m. 20 games for $20. Featuring Longaberger Baskets, Case Knives, 31 Bags, Drawings, 50/50, Auctions & More. Food and Beverages will be available.
