AARP DRIVER SAFETY COURSE OFFERED - Granville And Minnora

The AARP Driver Safety course for drivers age 50 and up is being offered at the Roane County Committee on Aging, Spencer, and at the Grantsville Senior Center.

Costs are $15.00 for AARP members or $20.00 for non-AARP members with certification being valid for 3 years. Completion of the course may qualify for an auto insurance discount.

No testing or driving is involved. You do not need to be an AARP member or have "AARP" Insurance to participate and refresh your driving knowledge. For more information or to register for one of these opportunities contact Eloise Bullard, Volunteer Instructor, at 304-655-7240.

West Fork Senior Center, Minnora: Wednesday, October 30, 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. 4-hr. refresher course. This course is for those who need to renew their certification and have completed the full 8-hr. course within the last three years.

Grantsville Senior Center: Tuesday, November 5, 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. 4-hr. refresher course. This course is for those who need to renew their certification and have completed the full 8-hr. course within the last three years.

West Fork Senior Center, Minnora: Wednesday, November 6, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. full 8-hour course. This course is for those who have never taken an AARP Driver Safety Course or have not had a course within the last three years. Bring your own lunch.

Grantsville Senior Center: Thursday, November 14, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. full 8-hour course. This course is for those who have never taken an AARP Driver Safety Course or have not had a course within the last three years. Bring your own lunch.
