SHALL WE GATHER - A Baptizing In West Fork Waters

Photos courtesy of Veronica May 2019 - A baptizing was conducted by the Walnut Grove Community Church in the waters of the West Fork at the site of the historical Roach cabin and the home of former residents, the late Gale and Frances Tanner. Five were baptized. Gary May, Mike Sampson and Gene Little assisted with the baptizing. Clark Samples is the current minister of church which was founded in 1858 by Billy "Bluehead" Starcher, and is located a short distance up-stream from the faded Village of Rocksdale.
