NICHOLAS HOLDUP - Nicholas County deputies and West Virginia State Police are looking for a vehicle they believe was involved in an armed robbery of a pharmacy.

The robbery occurred about 9:20 a.m. Wednesday at Hometown Pharmacy in Craigsville, according to a post on the Nicholas County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.

HUNTINGTON SHOOTING - Police say the shooting that sent one person to the hospital Wednesday afternoon started as a domestic situation, Huntington Police Chief Hank Dial says.

The victim's injuries are described as non-life threatening.

The shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of 10th Avenue. Dial says neighbors got involved in the situation, and the shooting was reported as people screaming in the area.

A search for the suspect is still underway. No suspect description has been provided at this time.

Spring Hill Elementary School was placed on a temporary lockdown as a precaution, Cabell County Schools officials say.
