Students at Arnoldsburg Elementary School celebrated Dr. Seuss and his creativity through his books and activities this past week.

Activities included, "Cozy up with a good book" students wore their favorite PJs or comfy clothes; "I Can Read with my Eyes Shut" wearing a shirt you can read; "Cat in the Hat Day" wearing a Dr. Seuss hat or their favorite hat; "The Lorax" wearing silly mustaches; and Celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday.

Mrs. Fitzwater's Kindergarten class had the highest percentage of students dressing up the entire week and received a special snack on Friday.

Read Across America Day was celebrated on Friday with special volunteer readers reading Dr. Seuss books to all classes during their read aloud times.
