A well-known Grantsville man has been missing from Grantsville since November 20, 2018, according to Grantsville Police Chief Craig Gherke.

Hess was last seen walking across the Grantsville bridge.

Chief Gherke said he had received no information on his whereabouts.

Jerry "JD" Hess, about 36, is about 5 foot, 6 inches tall, brown hair and eyes and weighs about 150 pounds.

Chief Gherke indicated that family members and numerous friends and acquaintances had not heard from him.

Hess was known in Grantsville as a handy man, and was a frequent visitor to the Calhoun Library.
