UPDATE 1/3/2019 - State Police say youth found safe.

CLAY COUNTY, WV — West Virginia State Police are looking for a missing teen from Clay County.

Christopher Claypool, 17, was last seen about 8 p.m. Tuesday, State Police said.

Claypool lives on O’Brien Road in the Duck area of Clay County.

State Police said the teen’s mother told them that this is completely out of character for him and they have tried to reach him through social media with no luck.

If anyone has any information about young Claypool, please notify your local law enforcement officers or call 911.
