The West Virginia Wing of the Civil Air Patrol had its 2018 Convention recently in Morgantown.

Members of the Calhoun Composite Squadron attending were Lt. Col. Lew Craddock, Major Donna Umstead, Major Maggie Bennett, 2nd Lt. Barbara Lindsay and 2nd Lt. Jacqueline Blankenship.

Cadets attending were, Cadet Airman Kinlea Church, Cadet Airman Clayton McIntyre, Cadet Airman Bradyn Toney, Cadet Airman Kameryn Toney and Cadet Grace Vincent.

During the General Assembly, awards and recognition were presented by Wing Commander Col. Paul McCroskey. The Calhoun Composite Squadron received the Award for Ground Support in Emergency Services.

Along with Awards and Recognition during the Banquet was the Changing of Command Ceremony. Col. Paul McCroskey, Outgoing WV Wing Commander to incoming WV Wing Commander Col. James Dodrill.
