CHARLESTON GUNFIRE = Investigators arrested a man accused of firing a gun at his ex-spouse's home.

Myles Aaron Brown, 44, of Charleston, is charged with wanton endangerment involving a firearm as well as persons prohibited from possessing firearms.

Deputies with the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office say it happened Friday in the 1400 block of Old Mill Creek Road in Charleston. The officers were called to a shots fired incident.

The victim said her ex-spouse, Brown, showed up at her home waving a gun. While deputies were on their way to the scene, the victim said Brown returned and fired multiple shots into her home.

The officers arrived and saw seven bullet holes in the home. Deputies took statements from the victim and her current boyfriend. Neighbors also witnessed Brown's vehicle being driven away from the scene.

Brown was no longer at the home, but investigators found him a short time later.

When deputies arrested Brown and took him back to the sheriff's office headquarters, they learned Brown was previously convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm in 1995. The suspect is also currently on parole for felony destruction of property.
