EMILY GRACE ANDERSON IS 64TH BLACK WALNUT FESTIVAL MISS MAJORETTE

Emily Grace Anderson was crowned the 64th Black Walnut Festival Miss Majorette, Saturday October 13th.

She competed in two rounds of competition against majorettes from across the state from single A to AAA schools. She was judged on performance, poise and confidence and overall showmanship.

This is Emilys first year as a Calhoun Marching Band Majorette. She has twirled with the Marching Carousels for 5 years both under the direction of Mrs. Kristie Ritchie.

This is a prestigious award for Majorettes in the state and Emily is honored to be this years winner.

Emily is the 12 year old daughter of Shannon and Trudi Anderson of Grantsville.
