CALHOUN MAN ZACH BELL FACING NINE CHARGES AFTER PURSUIT

State Police in Calhoun chased a male SUV driver on Rt. 16 north from the Arnoldsburg-Millstone area about 9 a.m. Friday, the vehicle reportedly crashed at Log Cabin Lane on the Mt. Zion Ridge.

The Calhoun Sheriffs Department and the Grantsville Police Department were summoned to assist with the pursuit.

Zachary Ryan Bell, 21, has been arrested and is facing nine charges, mostly felonies:

Grand larceny, reckless driving, speeding, driving suspended, fleeing from an officer, fleeing from an officer in vehicle, wearing mask/hood, fleeing with property damage, and possession of a controlled substance.

He is being held in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $18,500.
