REVIEW SAYS FOUR WV COUNTIES DRINKING AMONG LOWEST IN USA

While WV has among the highest number of drug addicted people, according to a review by 24/7 Wall Street, which looked at excessive drinking rates in 381 metro areas, four of the top 15 least drunk cities in America are in West Virginia.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says 18 percent of American adults drink excessively, but in some states it is much higher.

While beer sales are brisk at Calhoun's convenience stores. it now has only one bar.

At one time in Calhoun, there were about 25 bars.

Here are the WV four cities and how they ranked:
