BODY OF 45-YEAR-OLD WALKER CREEK MAN DISCOVERED AT RESIDENCE

(02/10/2018)
Calhoun authorities responded to a Walker Creek residence late Thursday afternoon after reports that a deceased person was discovered.

Calhoun Sheriff Jeff Starcher and Deputy Jason Elkins responded to the call with Minnie Hamilton Health System Ambulance.

Sheriff Starcher said the 45-year-old man, who apparently lived alone, appeared to have been deceased several days and no foul play was suspected.

Reports indicated the body was badly decomposed, and assistance was requested from the Upper West Fork VFD to remove the body from the residence.
