It would be difficult to imagine how people used to turn out to Calhoun events, Calhoun High homecoming parades and the 1956 Calhoun Centennial in Grantsville.

The 1956 Centennial Celebration will likely be the last great event in the county, with thousands of county residents and returnees coming out.

During the Centennial Parade, people eight-to-ten deep lined Main Street to watch.
