The Bear Fork Wilderness has long been known for its behemoth rattlesnakes.

Tim Evans caught this rattlesnake at his Bear Fork cabin while mowing grass.

"It's about 40 inches, plus," said Evans.

The Evans cabin is at the Head of Laurel, deep in the woods of Bear Fork. (2008)
