GREETINGS FROM HUR - Official Proof From 1914

For those of you who may think there never was a real place called Hur, here's your proof. An official postcard from the Village of Hur circa 1914. The card was addressed to Mrs. George Gainer, Mt. Zion. The village post office was named in the late 1800s by a local resident who was enthralled with the novel "Ben Hur." It closed in 1950. Postcard compliments of Lola Clark
