| Geraldine Virginia McMillion, 88, of Charleston, died Dec. 7, 2003, in the Teays Valley Center, following a long illness.
She was born Aug. 30, 1915, in Grantsville, W.Va. She was a daughter of the late Casper and Lucy Erlewine. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John D. McMillion; and a brother, Dana Erlewine. Geraldine was a member of the Sugar Creek Baptist Church, and a lifelong resident of Charleston.
Survivors include one son and his wife, James and Mary Lou Hicks of Nitro, one sister, Edith Davis of Barboursville, W.Va.; three brothers, Lester Erlewine and his wife, Maxine, of Florida, Gail Erlewine of Millwood, W.Va., and Casey Erlewine of Nitro; one sister-in-law, Evelyn Erlewine of Culloden; two grandchildren, Shelley Batten and her husband, Brian, of Charleston and Stacey Hicks of St. Albans.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
