Oma Eloise Siers, 81, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away December 3, 2003 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Born in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late Casper and Gertie Frederick Whipkey. She was a seamstress and a homemaker and a member of the House of Prayer in Salem, Virginia.
Surviving are one daughter, Nancy Mitchell of Roanoke and one son, Kenna R. Siers, Jr. of Colorado; one brother, Lenard Whipkey of Arkansas, and half brother, Richard Whipkey of of Georgia; a stepsister, Geraldine Johnson of Ohio; 5 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenna R. Siers, Sr., and three daughters, Eloise Nichols, Jeanie and Jackie Siers.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 8 at 1 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, WV. Pastor Gary Butcher will officiate. Interment will be in the Nobe Cemetery at Nobe, WV. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. |
