| Cordia H. Jeffery, 77, of Spencer, West Virginia, died December 2, 2003, in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, WV.
She was born February 14, 1926 in Boone County, a daughter of the late William Shelton and Mamie Susan Ashley Thompson. Mrs. Jeffery was a homemaker.
Survivors include six sons, James Michael Zinn, Clyde Edward Jeffery and Roy Allen Jeffery all of Cleveland, Ohio, William Harry Jeffery and Lowell Ray Jeffery of Spencer, WV, and Roger Lee Jeffery of Sandyville, WV; three daughters, Ramona Beth Parsons and Shelia Dawn Miller both of Spencer, and Robin Zayed of Jackson County; 18 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Jeffery; one son, Charles Francis Jeffery; one grandson, Christopher Michael Jeffery; two brothers, Harley and William Thompson; two sisters, Estia Hedrick and Icy Pearl Thompson.
A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, December 6 at 1 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Rev. Tim Bess officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
