| Evelyn F. Husk, 69, of Palestine, West Virginia, died Thursday, November 27, 2003, in the Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio, after an extended illness.
She was born March 14, 1934, at Hur, Calhoun County, WV, a daughter of the late Commodore and Eula Tanner Carpenter. She was a homemaker and Protestant.
Survivors include her husband, Stephen Husk of Palestine, children, Kenneth Husk of Palestine, Marvin Husk of Hubbard, Ohio, Ray Husk of Ashtabula, Ohio, John Husk of Lancaster, Ohio and Donald P. Husk of Palestine; stepmother, Ruth Starcher of Mt. Zion, WV; one brother, Lenny Carpenter of Spencer, WV, and two half brothers, Danny Carpenter of Calhoun County, and Timothy Carpenter of Creston.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Stephen Duane Husk, and one half brother, David Michael Carpenter.
Service will be Monday, December 1, at 1 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, WV, with Pastor Matt Hornbeck, Rev. Emzy Ashby, and Rev. David Calvert officiating. Burial will be in the Husk Cemetery at Hur.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
