A sports utility vehicle went over a steep hill near the Calhoun-Gilmer line on White
Pine Road yesterday evening. Two people were taken to Minnie Hamilton Health
Care Center by Calhoun EMS shortly after 6 p.m.
One of the individuals walked to the Harold Craddock residence to call for assistance.
Injuries did not appear to be critical in nature, according to a source at the scene.
Two vehicles collided near ChaTis Convenience Store on Rt. 5 near the Grantsville
town limits yesterday evening. No one was taken to the hospital. The driver of one
of the vehicles was being processed for DUI by Sgt. Darrin Campbell of the State
Police.
