| Ronald "Ron" William Smith Jr., 27, of Parkersburg died Nov. 21, 2003.
He was born March 3, 1976, in Elmira, N.Y., a son of Terri Taylor of Mineral Wells. He graduated from Calhoun County High School and attended Glenville State College. He was employed by Coldwater Creek for five years as a researcher.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Stacie Daugherty and her husband, Michael, of Parkersburg and Hollie Cunningham of Grantsville; a maternal grandmother, Gloria Jensen of Ithaca, N.Y.; one niece, Delaney Cunningham of Grantsville; and two nephews, Alex Cunningham of Grantsville and Donovan Daugherty of Parkersburg.
Ron was loved by so many. The family will always love Ron, as did his special friend, Jason Metz.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Parkersburg. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
