Virginia Dare Hall, 79, of Rt. 1, St. Marys, died Nov. 23, 2003, at her residence.

She was born March 6, 1925, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Amos Wallbrown Sr. and Rebecca Sturms Wallbrown Wilson.

She was raised in Calhoun County and lived in Pleasants County for 52 years. She attended Parkersburg High School. Her hobbies were crocheting, reading and collecting hummingbirds.

She is survived by five sons, Amos Richard "Dick" Hall and his wife, Carolyn, of St. Marys, Freer Randall Hall Jr. and his wife, Nina, of Palatine, Ill., Alan Dale Hall and his wife, Karen, of Williamstown, Roger Lee Hall and his special friend, Sara Carr, of St. Marys and Jerry Edward Hall and his wife, Cynthia, of St. Marys; one daughter, Randa Dare Gregg and her husband, Johnny, of St. Marys; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harold and Mildred Hall of Hartville, Ohio; sister-in-laws Imogene Hall of Spencer and Ruth Wallbrown of Parkersburg; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years, Freer Randall Hall Sr.; five brothers, Amos Wallbrown Jr., Cloyd Wallbrown, Paul Wallbrown, Bill Wallbrown and Boyd Wallbrown.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, with the Evangelist Arnold Huyghebaert officiating. Burial will be in Cloverdale Cemetery, West Virginia 16, Pleasants County, W.Va. Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
