| Elizabeth E. Knopp, 91, of Spencer, died Tuesday, November 18, 2003, in the Miletree
Healthcare Center, Spencer, after an extended illness.
She was born November 7, 1912, at Gay, a daughter of the late Sandusky and Maggie Parsons
Harpold. Mrs. Knopp was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Zion Community Church, Gay.
Survivors include her husband, Durward Knopp, Sr. of Spencer; one daughter, Connie
Starcher of Spencer; two sons, Howard Knopp of Leon and Durward Knopp, Jr. of Ripley;
eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, November 22 at 1:00 p.m. in the Mt. Zion
Community Church, with the Rev. Daniel R. "Danny" Whited officiating. Burial will be in
the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Gay.
Friends may call at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, from 5-8 p.m. on Friday and
at the church one hour before the service.
