Offutt is West Virginia's "Beef Ambassador"

County 4-H'er Sarah Offutt spoke last night at the Annual Calhoun County 4-H
Achievement Awards dinner at Calhoun Middle/High School. The Wirt High School
senior has recently received national awards and is West Virginia's "Beef
Ambassador."
Offutt spoke on "Beef-America's Favorite Meat."
A longtime 4-H member, she is currently the FFA state vice-president of the
southwestern region, and president of the Beulah Hill 4-H Club. She has raised
and shown steers as part of her 4-H life for several years.
She is also a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and president
of the Student Council at Wirt County High School.
She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lention Offutt of Elizabeth, and granddaughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Deward Offutt of Millstone.
